Man, I played on two different roleplaying servers and I didn't see public cyber sex in the tram or as much as a dropped inappropriate whisper. What a rip off.
Seriously though, roleplaying in online games (Especially in games that don't actively set aside servers for it) tends to be a problem due to varying degrees of literacy, character development, and ability to know the difference (and act the difference) of in and out of character. Playing a text-based game of hide the virtual salami aside, roleplaying seems best in small, organized groups that share similar interests. |
